Man, I am too busy to run this website or something? Not too many updates, huh? Well...

  1. We have had some rockin' weather this week. It has been in the 60's the past couple days and will be tomorrow too (or so they would have us believe).
  2. I got back into playing Civilization III over the weekend. I have a sweet game going where I am leading the Carthigians. I have been repeatedly attacked by Greece but have beaten them back and am now in a position to deal them some serious trouble. Who would have thought that a game that I played as a twelve year old would still interest me now? Ok, well then, moving on...
  3. Curtis is really starting to enjoy bath time. He hates the transition to/from bath time but loves it while he is in the water. Also, he got weighed today and he is now a 9lb 8oz monster. Go Curtis.
  4. We got a copy of the Two Towers: Special Edition DVD last night. It has 43 minutes of extra footage. Hopefully we can start watching it tomorrow night.
  5. I have been doing more COM programming with Python at work. I am creating a class that can be used to easily create/delete Active Directory (network) accounts and Exchange email mailboxes. The point of creating the class is to build a script/application that does batch creation/deletion of users, what with students coming and going every year.
  6. I have been reading a biography of Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson, reading "The Return of the King" to Sarah, and reading the book of Joshua in the OT. I am also sprinkling in some programming language reading as well for good nerdish measure.
  7. We are doing Thanksgiving here in town this year. We will miss seeing our families, but we are getting together with some friends and cooking dinner together. We also hope to get out to the courthouse to sing Christmas carols and watch them turn on the Christmas lights.
  8. I really like this creamy corn bread casserole that my wife found a recipe for. We have made it a bunch of times and it just gets better and better. Think corn bread but with moisture left in your mouth after eating it. Mmmm...

bye
