the occasional occurrence

So just because I haven’t been blogging doesn’t mean that nothing has been going on. Just to set the record straight.

From most recent to the other stuff:

We just had a great visit with Steve and Jen. They came and spent a few days with us. It was a good time as always. Who knew that Webster’s Dictionary could provide so much entertainment? Somehow, hearing anonymous voices say words like destroy and joyful with no emotion is quite humorous. Just visit the link and type in a word and you too can have it pronounced 100% correct and emotion free.

We tried to convince Curtis to be on his best behavior so that Jen and Steve would want to make him a friend, but he came down with his first cold and was not his normal elated baby self.

Speaking of Curtis, he is rolling over whenever he wants now, and if any object is within his reach, he is grabbing for it. If he successfully grabs it, he licks it, chews it, slimes it and eventually drops it.

I built a new computer from some parts. It is pretty nice. I overclocked the processor to run at 3.06GHz. When it comes to computers and speed, I feel like the character Tim Allen played on the show Home Improvement - weird, huh?

We had a nice visit last weekend at my sister’s place. My parents drove over and got some Curtis time. We played the bean game late into the night a couple times. Darn red beans!
