Nice day for phishing …
Alright my internet savvy friends … beware the “phisherman”. Recently I received a pretty convincing looking email saying that I had received a postcard. In the email was a link that looked like this:
http://postcards.com/cgi-bin/LinkSQL/postcards.cgi?Do=pickup&PickUpCode=40d00aab3c00b21c
There was the usualy talk of how to claim your postcard, blah, blah, blah. Can anyone tell me what’s wrong with the link above? Put your answer in the comments - if no one answers, I’ll post the answer later.

Ok, the answer is … the “http://blahblahblah” in this case is just text. If you hold your mouse over the link, look down in bottom left corner of your web browser (in the status bar). You will see that the link actually points to a questionable
site. Usually these sort of scams redirect you to a page that attempts to install a virus or spyware on your computer without your consent, not the site of some weird singer!
