An Online Community of Friends
Me and a bunch of college friends are building an online community. It is a concept that took a long time materializing but is already shaping up to be very cool. We have forums, blogs, quotes, polls, image galleries, etc. The great thing is that everyone has the abilitiy to create any of the different content types and every content type allows comments to be added. So far we have pictures that people have uploaded, a few blog posts, an active poll about favorite college events and some forum discussions.
I can’t give away the address to this community because it is supposed to be a private friend-of-a-friend kind of deal. But I am excited about its potential for bringing some good friends back together again so I had to post about it here.

Curses! I’ve been googlebombed! “Aaron who googlebombs” Rally the troops, batton the hatches and um someone close that screen door. As a side note, there is a plugin of sorts for the new version of Wordpress that allows you to add CAPTCHA capabilities to block those evil spam-bots. Its worked well on mine once I remembered to translate the portugues text into something that everyone knew they had to do something.
