Early Riser - Day 2
Up and at ‘em! Yep, I managed to crawl out of bed at 5 AM again. I didn’t even need a nudge this morning (well, except for an audio “nudge” from the alarm clock).
It’s 6:30, I’ve been up for an hour and a half and it has been nice. Some prayer/devotion time, some frosted shredded wheat, planning for my class this semester.
That’s right, I think I forgot to mention - I am teaching Introduction to Computers again this spring. I really enjoyed the experience last year and I am glad to have the opportunity to teach it again. I learned some stuff about teaching computers last time (go figure!) and I have a better idea of what worked/what didn’t as far as teaching the material goes.
I am back on a boat building kick again, by the way. I have ordered two books on the subject from Amazon. The bummer is that they won’t be here for 4-6 weeks. Sarah says that’s a good thing though because I shouldn’t get too excited about building a boat in the middle of winter anyhow (I don’t have a garage/workshop to build it in). I guess she’s right. Someday though, mark my words, I am going to set sail on a vessel born of my own hands! Translation: I will probably paddle around some scummy pond in a row boat - that I built! Er…will build! Sorry, getting ahead of myself.
