		<description>Aha!  Finally someone else who runs ipython locally while they work remotely?  Perhaps?  :)

Try ctrl-d for exit.  2 ctrl-d's exit ipython as well.  Someone else had aliased 'u' for 'cd ..' which seems handy too.</description>
