Coffee Shop Bum
I’ve been working from Starbucks for the past few days while we’ve been without power from the remnants of Ike. Sounds like I’m not alone:

UPDATE: My sister saved me from another afternoon at Starbucks and put me up in a temporary office at KSU*. Hooray!

yeah, it’s times like this when I’m glad I don’t work at home! It’s rather frustrating. My block is without power, but two houses down, they have electric. arrgh.

Yeah, our next door neighbor has power, as do most people east of us. From us and to the west some distance all are without power. Weird. At least our neighbors let us string an extension cord from their place to ours to run our fridge.
